Canceling a Session with your Client

If you cancel a session, you may seriously disrupt clients’ plans and impact their confidence in BodeWrk service providers. Whenever possible, try to find an alternative arrangement that suits both you and the client to maintain trust and satisfaction.

Frequent cancellations can negatively affect your service provider metrics and placement in search results. Excessive cancellations may lead us to remove your service(s) from search visibility or take further action to ensure platform reliability.

How to Cancel a Session

If you must cancel a session:

  1. Log on to BodeWrk.com and open the “Sessions” tab.

  2. Tap “Current” and select the session you need to cancel.

  3. Tap “Cancel” to complete the cancellation process.

Cancellation Fees for Booked Sessions

If you cancel a booked session, we may deduct the cancellation fee from your next payout or charge your card on file based on the following conditions:

  • Less than 24 hours before session start: 20% of the final cost (minimum $10, maximum $40).
    Example: For a $101.71 booking, the fee is $20.34.

  • More than 24 hours before session start: $15 flat fee.
    Example: A $55 booking incurs a $15 fee.

  • Within 8 hours of booking creation: $0 (no cancellation fee).

Cancellation Fees for Started Services

If you cancel a service that has already started (e.g., after you’ve arrived at the client’s location):

  • Fee: 5% of the final cost (maximum $20).
    Example: For a $101.71 booking, the fee is $5.09.

  • We may deduct this fee from your next payout or charge your card on file.

  • To avoid fees, please reschedule with the client whenever possible.

Mutual Cancellations

If the cancellation is mutual (agreed upon by you and the client), please contact BodeWrk support to document the agreement and avoid fees or reschedule.

Client Delays or Cancellations

  • If a client is delayed or cancels, they must contact you via BodeWrk messaging to request a new start time.

  • Late Client: If the client arrives late, you may charge an additional $10 fee directly to the client (no refund action required).

  • No-Show Client: If the client doesn’t show up, report it as a no-show via BodeWrk. After 24 hours, the booking will close automatically, and the client will be charged 15% of the final cost (maximum $25), which will be credited to you.
    Example: For a $101.71 booking, you receive $15.26.

Rescheduling Challenges

If you attempt to reschedule but cannot agree on a new time with your client:

  • Message us via BodeWrk to report it as a client no-show. The client will be charged 15% of the final cost (maximum $25), credited to you.

Additional Fees and Consequences

Engaging in the following behaviors may result in additional fees, impact your standing on BodeWrk, or lead to removal from the platform:

  • Asking your client to cancel on your behalf to avoid fees.

  • Refusing to cancel a booking to evade a cancellation fee.

  • Canceling a scheduled service to seek a higher price from a client.

In such cases, we may charge a penalty fee of 15% of the final cost (minimum $10, maximum $25) and adjust your search visibility or account status accordingly.
